NATO STAFF CENTRE CLOSURE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
On Monday, 9 March 2020, an individual within the NATO HQ community in Brussels tested positive for COVID-19. All the immediate work colleagues of the individual have been informed.
As of Tuesday, 10 March 2020, The NATO Staff Centre will be closed. This includes the operation of the sports centre, restaurant, shops, and any events scheduled at the facility and football pitch.
COVID - 19 TRANSMISSION CONTROL
Please continue to follow good basic health precautions, especially frequent handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are unavailable. When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with a tissue – discard tissue immediately into a closed bin and clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
